Becoming a teacher in NYC

Question

I currently hold a Bachelors degree in International Trade and Marketing. I would like to become a teacher (I currently work in the fashion industry) Any tips? Are there a lot of extra classes I will need to take in order to become a teacher? I would prefer the younger grades (elementary school) thanks

hmm.

frankly telling the career u r in right now is the other side of the coin..

but u can surely teach lower grades thats for sure...

u didtn mention the subject u would like to choose and what grades u would like to teach...

i thought it was hard quitting from the fashion industry...
