Becoming a wedding planner

Do you have to have a degree or go to a vocational school in order to become a wedding planner/bridal consultant/wedding coordinator?

you do not need a degree (I don't even think they offer one) but you will need great contracts.  If people are hiring you as the wedding planner they will expect you to be able to get them the best of everything, including book halls and caterers so you need to have connections.
