Becoming an Political Activist!?

Currently, I am majoring in Political Science.

I want to become an Environmentalists. Should I be majoring in something else?

Also, what are some universities that would be good to transfer to. Thanks for ALL responses.

  1. I don't know if Poli Sci is the way to go. Shouldn't you major in some sort of environmental sciences or environmental management? There are degrees specifcally designated for that. Perhaps you should change majors.


  2. First off, don't environmentalist deal with the environment?  Doesn't that mean that you should be majoring in environmental science?  

    If you want to become a lobbyist for a company that wants environmental changes, then you can major in political science, go to law school and then try getting a lobbyist job.  

    If you do not want to be a lobbyist, then you should think of changing your major to a real science- a hard science.
