ok so I want to become an actress and I think I have a good PLA going so far.. here it is: first I'm going 2 drama camp this summer than acting classes during school time (I'm 12/13 yrs old) than after acting classes I'm going to join this agency called Star Search Casting and audition for parts in comercials movies TV shows & things like that and so on... I only live in a small town in NS Canada so I guess I'll just have to settle for any auditions (if they have any) in Halifax (the capital city but that's till next year when I'm 13/14... oh yeah my mom said if I get offered a part in a movie or something than I can take the offer as long as its not during school time... any suggestions on how I can make my plan better? or is it good how it is?

  1. you should also study waitressing

  2. Start small and go big. Planning your acting career always leads to nothing. Let your talent take you where you need to go.

P.S. Star Search Casting is not a good way to get roles.

  3. I can't stress the fact that your mother is absolutely right when it comes to school work. Acting (and performing careers in general) aren't always good on the income, so you definitely need something to fall back on. Your plan is decent, just make sure your school work doesn't fall behind. If you get good grades, you can get into a good acting school! :)

    Best of luck!
