Becoming police/Requirements?

I'm 18 and i have dreamed and had a passion for law enforcement since i was 7, I was wondering if anyone knew how i go about becoming one or requirements. i have tried to find out myself but have not found much out, I live in WV and want to become city police

Well first of all, get into shape, it will help you in the long run in the academy and overall because police work is physical. Next COLLEGE COLLEGE COLLEGE, that's almost a much if your looking into law enforcement. Then don't get into any trouble, stay clean and you have a good chance of getting accepted.

go to the township websites they should tell you. many places do test once or twice a year. also you might need some college
