Question:

Bed bugs and pregnant?

I think I've got bed bugs in my house. I wake up with bites and the bites are in a row and they kind of match where my veins are. I'm getting desperate, I have so many bites on my body that I'm constantly itching and I'm reacting so badly to them that they actually leave a scar.

I would invite a pest control guy here in a heart beat however I know he's going to spray a ton of chemicals and I am pregnant. I am scared the chemicals are going to cause a birth defect or something to my baby. Does anybody have any idea what I should do to get rid of these pests but not harm my developing baby?

  1. vacuum your mattress, u would be surprised the dust mites and dust mite f***s in your bedding.  we bought a kirby vaccuum for this reason.

  2. i broke out all over from a lotion i was using and for some reason when i went to my bf house his couch would make me inch. So i would take a shower be-for i went to bed and it helped. I also made him wash his sheets twice a week cause im 11 weeks pregnant

  3. We live in some town houses and our neighbors had bed bugs the land lord said the way to check if you have them is lift up your mattress or have your significant other do it and if you see spots that looke like blood spots then you have them. They do use a lot of chemicals but my daughter was about 19 months old when they sprayed our house and they said we could have went back in the same day if you are that worried maybe you could have them spray it and then go stay some where for a night or two untill everything airs out thats what we did. You for sure want to get that taken care of before baby is born. Good luck.
