Bed facing door?

My mom flipped when she saw that and she said only dead ppl do that. Why is it so bad??

It is kind of creepy!

Because alot of horror movies that have something bad happen to people in the night in their rooms,

do you notice the bed faces the door?

It's like BAM!

Right in front of death.

Your mom is crazy.  It's not bad, infact you should just replace that bed with a coffin and have that facing the door.  See how your mom reacts to that.... hahaha.

lol my parents told me that too... but its just a superstitious belief in our family... im starting to think that my parents are over acting...

Its not, Vicka, What your mother believes is pure superstition nothing more.. And that SUPERSTITION goes back to medieval time and then some.... I won't go into how that got started but again your mother is just superstitious that's all..............

the foot of the bed faced the door,

it was considered bad luck or karma

for that person-

because when a person died at home,

they were usually carried out of

the bedroom or house-

feet first.

my bed faced my door for good reason. d**n nurses in the hospital put cold stethoscope on my back while i was asleep & facing the window!

Your mom's superstitious thats all. Nothing's wrong with that, it might just be a tradition that people on their deathbed lie facing the door.

i dont get what the deal is? do u live in the deep south? cause people in the deep south believe in a lot of weird superstitions
