I tried the nothing to eat after 6pm. I also wake her to use the bathroom around 11pm and she still pee in the bed. She will fall asleep in the car and will pee in my damm car. She just pee the bed every night.

I told her pediatrician he said when she sleeps her muscles gets weak and thats why she pee on her self everynight. I heard of some medication that could help. Have anyone tried it? If so I will call my daughter Dr so he can call some in. Im tired of washing bed sheets.

Its also a problem because I refuse to let her go over her house for sleepovers, she is just 5 and the lil girls will make fun of her and I know they are just chldren but who would want their child to go through that.

Please Help me, Help Her.

  1. My oldest son is 9 and still wets the bed.  You can't get frustrated with them - they don't want to be doing it either!  My son has worn puul ups/ good nights since he was out of diapers.  It's expensive, but I couldn't stand all the wet sheets!  I'd suggest you put your daughter in pull ups or good nights and keep doing what your doing, but remember it's not her fault!

  2. i have had friends and family members go through the same thing.i havent heard of the medicine but its been awile.you dont want to cut her fluids too much because if her bladder is small she may really rely on those fluids you dont want her to get an infection.but most of the people i know saw a specialist that gave them a device that if her bladder started to relax too much it would send a signal to her ear and wake her up to potty.the ones whom have tried it that i know of it worked wonders til there bladder matured.i wish you luck think about it and talk to her dr on his opinion

  3. I would buy her those Good nites. Either way you look at it your either spending money on those or the money to wash and dry her sheets every night but at least you won't end up frustrated every morning. Sounds like you are trying everything you can to help her. I guess you just have to excercise your patience and try those and work out some kind of sticker chart or something that every time she wakes up dry she gets a sticker and when she gets so many she earns a reward. Hang in there i know how it is my 4 year old still has accidents every now and then so I know how you feel.

  4. Her bladder is not fully developed. It can take children up to 12 years old to fully develop their bladders. I understand that washing sheets every day is frustrating. But you don't want to medicate her its not a medical problem. Its normal.

  5. I had this problem with my youngest son until he was about 7.  He is a very deep sleeper and his baldder control was weak.  I never used any medications or devices.  I did the no drinks after 7pm and put him in bedtime pants.  He hated them but I just talked to him and said "I know you don't like them but don't you feel better when you don't wake up in a wet bed?"  Although he gave me trouble about wearing them, I made him wear them at night.  I slowly weaned him off of them.  When he went 1 month without wetting the bed then I let him just wear his regular underwear to bed.  Some kids just have a small bladder and can't control it.  I know it's frustrating but let your daughter know it's not her fault and sometimes it just happens and that you are going to work with her to fix the problem.  She will grow out of it.  Hang in there.

  6. My 6 year old daughter still wets the bed. We use Good Nights to help with the sheets. We also constantly remind her to use the bathroom. We wake her up to go one more time before we go to bed and dad wakes her up again at 5am before he goes to work to go to the bathroom. So for her pull ups have been dry for a couple weeks, but every time we try to stop using them it starts all over again. I was told she'll grow out of it eventually. Talk to your Dr. again about medication or other things, like a monitor that will wake her up at night.

  7. please get her the good-nights bedtime pants. if she is still having problems in a  few years, take her to a pediatric urologist. my son still wets the bed at 12. we had him tested about 6-7 years ago and found out that he has a bladder that is too small (by about 1/3). he can't help it.

  8. My daughter has the same problem........ don't fuss on her though she can't help it and feels bad enough already or mine does. Have you bought her some goodnites to try wearing at night........ they work really well for my daughter. Also some foods they eat can trigger bed-wetting http://www.goodnites.com/na/articlestool...   This site has some good info on bed-wetting  http://www.goodnites.com/na/bedwettingba...

  9. You sound like a very caring mum and i understand it must be hard washing sheets cleaning car all the time but i would stay away from any medication she doesnt have a serious illness she is just young. Her body may need more time to develop. One advice i ca give is don't get upset with her when she does it and try not to make a big deal out of it because even though she is only 5 she will stress about it and the problem will get worse. Other then waking her to go toilet i think your going to just have to ride this one out. Good luck.

  10. Have you tried the bed pants by pampers. That might work.

  11. My daughter had the same problem.  We bought a "bed wetting alarm" from a website.  If you search, you'll come up with lots of choices.  The alarm is connected to the underpants and when it gets wet from urine, it starts going off.  The idea is to wake the child as soon as they start wetting the bed.  They should go to the bathroom to finish and put on dry underpants.  The first few nights are very difficult as the alarm went off every few hours.  But slowly we saw improvement.  After a few weeks, she stopped wearing the alarm and woke up on her own to go to the bathroom and now she rarely goes in the middle of the night.

    Good Luck.
