  1. There is a pad you can put under the person that wakes you up when you begin to wet the bed.

Your son will probably outgrow this soon.  My brother had enuresis until he was about 12.  My parents had him checked for medical and emotional problems and nothing wrong was found. He just started doing it less and less until it was not an issue any longer.

The cause can be as simple as having a small bladder and being overtired.

There is also a medication called Tofranil that  may alleviate enuresis,  if he is having bad self esteem problems over this .

It only treats symptoms and not the cause so you would want to weigh the benefits  of self esteem issues against the possible side effects of medication.

  2. what else is he like, what kinda boy is he flamboyant or withdrawn?

is he a busy child? cause sometimes your concentrating on other things.

what else is going on in his world?

  3. well u can try not to give him any liquids 10 to 15 min. before he goes to bed and tell him to use the bathroom before he goes to bed, even though he do not have to.theirs nothing u can really do about it.

  4. 1 no drinks for 1/2, before bed just before he goes to bed make him go to the toilet and also make him say Ï must not wet the bed ten times before he goes to sleep.

2 wake him before you go bed and make him go to the toilet

3 go to your Dr and ask for a refferral to an enurisis clinic these pple are experts who deal with children who wet the bed

4 some chemist or drug stores hire special mats what go on the childs bed and when they start to wet the bed an alarm goes off and wakes them up so they have to go to the toilet themselves.

5 dont make a big deal about it or make a joke of it other wise he will feel that it is something to be ashamed of

  5. going to a doctor and get a referral to a doctor who specialises in nighttime neurosis. Getting a mat and bell and fixing the problem

  6. could be a gentic disorder or he has a mental disabillity
