BedRoom MakeOver For A Teen???

Question

I am a 14 year old girl

I love Hot Pink, Teal, Orange, Aqua, & Lime Green

I need to find some way to make my room my room and not like a boring irish cream wall with all the same furniture since i was 8

Can some1 please help me with this so i can redo my room before summer is over

I need Furniture, Paint, Bedding, & Accessories

you could use ht pink on walls or you could take teal and aqua put one of the colors on top and put the other on the bottom then take the lime green and make a strip in the middle of the two colors that would look cool or you could do just solid orange or like i said before solid pink.. and of furniture your just gonna have to find something you like and get bedding that matches the colors of your walls..

I'd keep the walls since they are light colored and add stencils of shapes or flowers or whatever to the wall in the colors you want.     It's easy to do and cheaper than painting the walls again.   furniture is something you have to look for online or go thru store catalogs.   you can buy fabric and use staple gun or upholstery pins/tacks to hold it over furniture you have already.  Recovering furniture is fun, I think.     Use fabric glue to decorate pillows with stuff from craft or fabric store since it's washable.     Go to dollar stores if you can't spend alot, there's tons of brightly colored accessories for girls room in there made from ceramics and things.  I found alot of cute things those colors for my kids rooms.      also visit antique stores or flea markets, expensive things that are sold alot less are found there.   go to HGTV.com and look at the shows they have on there, some are soo good at decorating easy and inexpensive.

you should paint your walls aqua and go pick out a bed and then get like a bedspread that has all the colors in it with like a cool pattern. Then get solid color curtains i recomend going to pbteen to find things and get good ideas.

My friend did this to her room:

1) Paint the walls white.

2) Make an accent wall. Paint a cool pattern such as stripes or polka dots. Use a color that goes well with your floor. Everything goes with hardwood!

3) Get bedding that is a funky color. Make it a similar color to the wall!

4) Take the headboard and footboard off of your bed. It makes a huge difference!

5) Get a lamp that is very cool. Mine is translucent purple plastic with a bright purple shade and it's awesome!
