  1. how about an activity chart? get some paper and stickers she likes and draw out a chart of things to keep her room clean. like picking up toys after use and/or making bed (the best she can lol) throwing away things that need to be, messy laundry or whatever it is she does to make it messy. every time she does whats on the chart she gets to put a sticker on it at the end of the day. once she fills up for a week then reward her in some way....

  2. go to like target/walmart and get some organize bins, label them and when it's time to clean up, teach her where the things go... I'm doing this with my two year old, he's kind of getting the hang of it... good luck! Oh and get rid of things or put toys away that she doesn't play with often so you don't have a bunch of toys laying around everywhere!

  3. The whole point is to make cleaning fun and not a nightmare.  Perhaps a star system will work?  Create a report card of some kind out of some nice colored drawing paper.  Draw some boxes, one for each day of the week.  Tell her that she will get a star each day.  The color depending on the state of her room.  Gold for tidy, silver for so-so, and no star for a messy room.  Play around, pretend to be an inspector and make her laugh.  You can even try including your room in the game, loosing out to a silver star once in a while to make her feel better.  Sometimes competition works wonders.

There are hundreds of stickers in paper supply stores.  Use your imagination on what stickers to use for what point you want to make... you know what impresses her.  Stars are what they used to mark out elementary school papers and we loved it.

  4. First... help her clean her room, have a place for EVERYTHING... throw out all the stuff that's not needed.Try to make it fun. Second...Set aside a time each day for her to spend 5 minutes picking it up... if she complies.. set up a reward system.  Or, you could do what my Dad did to me when I was a little older.....He would tape a garbage bag to my bedroom door, with a note attached that said...." The garbage bag man is coming!!! He will arrive in 24 hours, and throw away anything that is not put away properly. You will NEVER get these items back. EVER." So... . it only took me once to learn... I really missed my favorite jeans!!!! Good luck

  5. Tell her a mean dwarf will come out of her closet and shave her head.
