Bedroom color/ decorating help?

i'm moving into a new bedroom, it is an unusally shape but very spacious. within the next few weeks i need to paint it but the problem is i am stuck with working around a medium colored blue rug and black furniture.

i really want a theme for my room so that my bedding, walls and rug all match/coordinate and maybe a piece of artwork to tie it in?

soo any suggestions for colors or themes would be much appreciated and i will pick best answer :)

Yellow would make the black and blue pop! Go to posters.com and art.com to check out some artwork. Also go to the paint store and check out some borders. Get some color ideas or use one you like and instead of putting it near the ceiling, put it at chair rail height, 36 inches, around the middle of the room. If you do that consider painting the top half of the room one color and the bottom another. That would be cool!
