Bedroom decor like pbteen.?

i am twevle. around thirtheen.

about a year ago a made the mistake of getting dark furniture in my room.

now i hate it. everyone i know has lighter furniture and the dark colors just make my room look unwelcoming and cold.

i am ready for a slight change by getting white furniture.

i understand these are VERY pricey so i was wondering if there are any stores that would give me GOOD quality furniture with that look for less.

btw, i said good quality, not amazing quality

i just don't want it to fall apart in like a month :/

I have found some cute stuff for my daughter's room at Target.  I bought it a year ago and it's been solid - no chips or nicks anywhere.  Another think you can try is waiting for a sale and buying one piece at a time when it's 50% off.  Check out your local consignment shops for deals as well.

Have you thought about painting the furniture you already have?  Would your parents go for that?  Also, you may want to sell your furniture on ebay or through a consignment shop to raise the money for the new furniture you want.
