Bedroom design ideas?

Question

I have a medium sized bedroom that I want to completely make over to have a cozy urban feel.

I like these rooms:

I was kind of thinking red, black, and white for the color theme..

Or maybe red and orange?

but I'm open to any suggestions.

What other are colors would look good together?

Wallpaper? Furniture? Lighting? anything helps!

I love the 3rd picture, you have all the ideas on that pictures, I was going to suggest the zebra prints with the black and white, and the touch of red, I would stick with that if I were you !

i <3 the first one! red black and white look good together, so do green and purple, blue and pruple, and green and blue. different shades of each color may look better. i think you can also get different colored lightbulbs for lamps so that when you turn on the lamp your room will kind of have a glow.

I personally like the first pic with the color blocks on the one wall and the solid colors on the others.  Thats how my room is and is super easy to do.

Be careful with too much blakc though...if you don't have alot of natural lighting (i.e. windows) it can end up looking like a dungeon.

what about this two accent walls. the wall behind your bed can be red and the opposite wall can be black. Leave the other two walls white and decorate with all the colors. use black and white on the red wall and red and white on the black wall for the two white walls use black white and red. i definately thing a rug. with these colors i wouldn't do any type of wall paper. Use mirrors to bounce light around the room. and be sure to keep the wall that has windows white.  Have fun!!!
