Bedroom redecoration...?

i have a very small bedroom. it is a box room and it is literally a box! at the moment i have a bunk bed with a computer desk, wardrobe, and 2 shelves underneath. i want to get rid of this and get just a single bed. i now have a laptop so my computer desk is not needed. i need help with colours though. at the moment, my room is lilac but now i'm 16 i would like a more sophisticated coloured room instead of a really girly babyish room. no dark colour ideas please as this will just make my room look smaller than it is. any ideas would be much appreciated. thanks x

  1. Cream base as this will 'open' the room up more, with chocolate browns and turquoise colours.  Type 'carmen chocolate and turquoise' into google, look under images, and it'll show you those colours together. Hope this helps :-)

  2. why dont you try a virtual redecorating, the thing you can do online nowaday is great, check out

virtual redecorating  in yahoo or google

  3. How about cream and a warm red?

Just have one wall red or have a patterened wallpaper and that can be your feature wall, or use a large painting.  And then paint the rest of the walls cream, I find white too cold, but it's up to you.

You could always use browns, theres a lot of nice accessories for brown rooms out there!
