  1. During school, 9:30, weekends 11PM

  2. 12-15 yr olds: Curfew 9:30 Bedtime 10:30

    16 yrd old: Curfew 10:30 Bedtime 11:30

You could probably bump it all back 1 hour during weekends and summer.

I think that's reasonable. I've never had a real curfew or bedtime, my parents just gave me a range to try to stay in, and I ended up alright. I think these are good times though.

  3. 9 pm during summer 7 during winter for curfew.

10pm for all of them or they go to bed when you do.

  4. 10-11pm for all of them.

  5. 10:00 pm for the 12 and 14 year old. and 10:30 for the 15 and 16 year old

  6. In our family, the middle schoolers had to be in bed, lights out, by 10:00 pm.

In high school, because of the increase in sports and homework, we tried to have lights out by 11 pm, midnight at the latest.  With two kids with extremely demanding academic schedules, that wasn't always the case, but it was a goal.

Curfew:  Middle schoolers, 8 pm.  school nights, 9-10 pm weekends, depending on circumstances.  High schoolers, we were a lot more flexible on.  They were pretty trustworthy, and the state laws meant that they couldn't be driving after midnight, anyway.  Daughter's dates with guys I didn't know:  11 pm.  Once I got to know them, I was more lenient.

  7. My rules were this:

    Age 12: Curfew 8:30, bed by 10

    Age 14: Curfew 9:00, bed by 10:30

Age 15/16: No set curfew, but had to call my parents, tell them where I was/who with, and they would set a different time depending on the situation. No bedtime, but when I tried to stay up till 3-4 I realized on my own how hard it was to do anything the next day.

Really, though, I think it should be mainly based on how much you trust your children. If your 14 y.o. makes straight A's, is always home/in bed on time, and is a good person, you should let them have more freedom. If your 16 y.o. is an absolute nightmare, they should have restrictions put on them.

  8. 12 - you should be in the house at 8 in bed by 9:30-10 during summer 9 school days

    14 - home by 9

    15 - home by 10

    16 - home by 11

My curfew has always been 10:30 until just recently. Now it's 12. (I just turned 17)

  9. 9-10-ish.

  10. I'm 14, I usually go to bed around 10:30ish during the school year and then during the summer i stay up later.
