  1. Just keep telling your parents that if they let you stay up you will make sure you get up and are ready to go for school in the morning! If that doesn't work I dunno...

  2. you could say that you are still doing homework and if you have a tv in your room you could watch it. or you could do other fun stuff just make sure you stay in your room so your parents don't know what you are doing.

  3. Examples please? when do you get up? when do you go to bed? when do you want to go to bed? how old are you?

I think the best way you can persuade your parents that you are ready to stay up later is to prove to them that you don't need as much sleep as they are letting you get. So for now ... Go to bed when they tell you to. Go to sleep. Wake up early in the morning and let them know that you are up. ... If they see that you are waking up too early, it will be easier to convince them that you are ready for a later bed time.

If you cannot fall asleep early to wake up, do more in the day to try and wear yourself out so you can fall asleep earlier. If you still honestly can't fall asleep - just talk to them about it. Tell them you can't get to sleep that early and ask if you can try for like one week to go to sleep later and see if you can still wake up on time.

You could also google something like "teenage sleep patterns" ... I have read stuff before that says teens (if you are one) naturally want to stay up later and sleep in late. It's just how they're wired.

Good luck. But remember that getting enough sleep is important and you will be better off if you get it. Too many people stay up late just because they can. It makes their life harder when they wake up. Harder to think straight, harder to have enough energy, etc...

  4. What kind of chores do you do at home?  Are you quiet when you are up and others are sleeping?  What do you want to do with this extra time?  If your parents want you up at, say ...7am, can you get up and be happy about it and function well?

If you can answer these questions in a way that your parents will approve, then your chances of staying up later are better.

    Good Luck

  5. Just stay awake to what time you like.

I got a TV in my room and everything I love so I don't mind getting into bed.

If you stay awake late everynight you're parents should eventually get used to it and extend you bedtime each night.

After a while it should be ok to stay up later but don't do what your friends do.

Be yourself - do what you want to.

  6. depends on how old you are

  7. How old are you? I would say it depends on when you have to get up for school...Kids should get at least 8-10 hours of sleep for proper brain development....So, if you get up for school at 7am, you should be in bed the night before between 9 and 11pm.

  8. Stay awake in your bed or even make noise in your room so your parents know you are still awake. Do that for a long time and they will get the point that your bedtime is to early.

  9. just dont go to sleep =)

    duh lol

  10. just do not ask do not say any thing about the time maybe they will not notice if they do just go to your room but stay awake.
