Bees are dying off in huge numbers just in the last couple of years. The most plausible explanation for this is actually cell phones.

Without bees many plants and animals that are critical to our life on earth will be wiped out because our crops will not be pollinated. We are talking no fruits, vegetables and other plants. Soon no animals that need to eat plants.

Are there cell phones out there that do not interfer with bees communications or how can we quickly develope them and get the word out.

  1. PerryL is right and deserves Best Answer for GMO!!!!

Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD) can be caused by many factors. Cell phone usage is just one, but how much of one is highly debatable.

Some reports say up to 60% of the USA bee population has been affected by CCD. The effect has been worldwide. Although use of the African Bee increases honey production, these Bees have felt the effect of CCD too.

Human beings are dependent on bees to pollinate our plants for our food and oxygen supply. Humans beings need pollination to survive. It's a very delicately balanced and serious issue.

  2. I don't think it is cell phones because the die off isn't uniform...it is higher in certain areas. Also the die offs have been documented in many areas of the world (3rd world countries) where there aren't any cell towers.

So what is killing them? Well there IS something that is found in all of the areas where bee die offs have occurred...GMO crops. Genetically modified crops are "modified" (frog genes added etc.) to make them insect resistant so the farmers will not have to use pesticides. One of the interesting aspects of the die offs is that the bees abandon their hives when they die and the honey they leave behind does not get raided by other insects...insect resistant honey? Hmmm

GMO crops have been rolled out worldwide since the late 1980's in a giant uncontrolled experiment with zero oversight. The bee die offs started in the early 1990's and have been getting worse as more GMO is grown.

Einstein said the human race would disappear in four years if all the bees suddenly died.
