  1. you can make beef and broccoli in a regular pan. just get a thin cut of beef like top round or sirloin, and cut it in thin strips or however u prefer. put the pan over medium heat and put a little olive oil in the pan and add the beef, sprinkle some salt on the meat and brown for a few minutes, then add some soy sauce to it and your broccoli and cover and let cook for 5-10 minutes. then enjoy.


  2. Well a frying pan would suffice in a simple project such as this. First obtain a recipe on the internet by searching for it, then follow those instructions but substitute a best-shaped frying pan for the wok. Now, you have inspired me to go look up the recipe for Orange Chicken.

  5. You can stir fry the beef strips with any kind of frying pan!

    450 g beef fillet

    1 broccoli, branched into bite size

    1 glove of garlic, sliced

    2 slices of fresh ginger root

    1 tablespoon of Chinese yellow wine or sherry

    2 tablespoons of peanut oil

    sesame oil, a few drops

    2 cups of ice water

    Marinade for beef

    1 egg white, beaten

    2 tablespoon of water

    Seasoning

    1 tablespoon of soy sauce

    1 tablespoon of oyster sauce

    1 teaspoon of sugar

    2 teaspoons of cornstarch

    1 tablespoon of water or chicken stock

    1) Marinate thinly sliced beef strips with egg white & 2 tablespoon of water for at least 2 hours (put into the refrigerator)

    2) Mix seasoning in a bowl and set aside, boil a pot of water with a teaspoon of sea salt, add broccoli in the pot and cook till 80% cooked, drain broccoli and put into ice water and keep cool, drain well and set aside.

    3) Heat non-stick frying pan over high heat, add peanut oil, season the wok, reduce heat to medium, stir fry ginger and garlic till fragrant, add beef in the pan and stir quickly for 30 seconds, sprinkle yellow wine in the pan.

    4) Pour seasoning mixture in pan and stir quickly till sauce is thicken, add broccoli in pan, toss to combine. Turn off heat. Sprinkle sesame oil and serve on plate.
