  1. Since you've already tried most of the "tried and true" remedies for constipation, get some metamucil or canned pumpkin and try those.  Getting some fiber into the kitten may help.....or....you might want to consider taking it to the vet.  It may have an obstruction, and all of the "treatments" in the world won't help......

Hope you decide on the vet, for the kitten's sake.......

BTW........belly rubs aren't the answer!  You need to RUB IT'S a**s!!!

    Good luck..........

  2. Hey, we took our babies to the emergency vet for just this kind of situation, and the answer we got, which turned out to be accurate, was that when they are mostly drinking milk--which she should be at this age--sometimes it takes them a while to amass enough bulk to have a bowel movement.  So long as she isn't showing any distress, I wouldn't fuss her.  They really will go when they have enough for the system to process.

I do hope you are using Kitten Formula, which is precisely formulated for infant felines, and much more suited to kitlings than is cow's milk, or even goat's milk, which tends to give them the runs, and isn't really their ideal nutritional value.  It's not all that expensive, comes in several sizes, and mixes up just like non-fat dry milk.  Most pet stores carry at least one or two brand names.

Rubbing her little belly or her butt might help stimulate the urge, but this really is normal, and does not constitute constipation.  So long as she is eating and drinking as usual, and not throwing up or showing any particular stress, she is going on  quite as normal.  Don't worry about it.

  3. ok this is going to sound really gross but the only thing you can really do is rub her butt. [i know, i know. but i promise that it works.] and introduce her to her litter box.

take her and hold her in there then take her two front paws and move them as if she were trying to cover up her bm.

this worked for me, when my cat was a kitty. I hope it works for you.
