Been on accutane for 2 months?

Im not happy with it. My parents keep telling me it will get better but i dont feel like it will. I meen like a week or two i just started like me second month of it but im getting frustrated and discouraged with it like its not working it looks more like its getting worse really bumpy and REALLY red some areas on my face look better but most look horrible and i hate it. Did anyone have trouble with accutane like taking longer than 2 month to get better. I just really need to hear people that have used to before that had this problem that i had. Please. Oh an im on 40mg once a day.

it takes persistence, nothing is going to happen quickly no matter what you use....for my son, it took six months before things started looking better, then after a year, he had no acne at all.  He too got frustrated with how long the accutane seemed to take, but then I reminded him that for six years before the accutane, nothing worked...and I was paying for the stuff...so he continued with it, and after a year he had perfect skin.  Hang in there, be patient.

i was on it for 5 months, and i looked like a freak. i think it would have looked better if i just left it alone. o i quit taking it. have you tried antibiotics like tetracycline? that can work sometimes.
