Been on accutane for 28 days. Get 10 points!?

Question

ive been on accutane for 28 days. the only think ive seen happen so far is chapped lips. i havent seen very much dryness in my skin or anything.

does your skin get really dry?

did you get embarrsed because it was so dry?

any lotions that help?

jergens helps for about 12 hours for me so im never dry!

it moisturizes while keeping it waterproof

My skin was so oily that even Accutane didn't dry it out to the point I needed lotion.

I used chapstick and sunscreen.  Nothing else.

As for embarrassment, I was far more embarrassed of my horrible acne than ANY of the side effects from Accutane.

My brother took accutane and his lips also got very very chapped just make sure to carry chapstick around all the time ( he used burts bee's and said it worked well). His skin did as well but i am not exactly sure how long until that happened. He used a lotion that his doctor prescribed to him when his skin started getting really dry and that helped so i would ask the doctor that prescribed you accutane what lotions he can give you too.

HELLO!

I was on accutane, and will be again.  But anyways, yes chaped lips is most common.  Always carry around chap stick.  And it changes between people, but what i got was very dry skin on my face, and if i didnt use lotion once ever couple hours, my face would become so dry it looked like it was peeling after a bad sunburn, which is very embaressing, expeciall in school.  And another was Eczema on my arms, and sometimes all over.  Just use a lot of lotion, and ask your doctors and they can give a prescription is your skin is really bad.  

think it was during the 3rd month my skin got bad, if that helps.
