  1. lot's of physio, try loosing a bit of weight and see if it gets better, and oh, try joining the gym as well

  2. the only effective method of eliminating pain signals is to fix the damaged/distressed part generating the signal.

Read and apply http://www.helium.com/tm/148271 to find out what the problem is and then fix it.

  3. The Australians swear by a product that is 100% natural and used for arthritic and muscular pain.  It is the fastest selling pain relief in Australia.  The Chinese olympic team are even using it for Beijing games.  It's called Elmore Oil and even has a money back guarantee.

Also I would advise taking Liquid Calcium to help the bones.  Best to take the liquid sort as the other can lead to kidney stones.  They come in soft gel capsules and they absorb quicker into the blood.  Calcium also helps with insomnia, panick attacks, high blood pressure, muscle spasms, irritability.  Hope this helps.

  4. First of all, it does really depend on what the cause of your bad back is.  For the vast majority of people, it is just weak muscles, deconditioning in general and being overweight.

Less commonly you may have some disc degeneration or arthritis in your vertebra...that is very unlikely if you are under 30.

For the above two cause, regular exercise, especially the core abdomenal muscles and a healthy body weight are the best treatments.  Pilates and yoga are both good for the core muscles.

Even then you may have to take a pain killer now and then...there's nothing wrong with that.  Low back pain is part of the human condition.  Our pelvises and spines have not fully evolved for walking upright yet.

  5. If you'd like to consider a non-toxic alternative, feel free to contact me.

  6. i just injured my back & went to the doctor after trying chiropractor & accupuncture care.  (neither helped.)  i specifically asked the doctor to give me something that was not addictive & to start me in physical therapy.  he did.  i now only take alleve & tylenol daily & go to physical therapy 3x/week.  i do the exercises at home 4x/week.  ask your doctor for something non-addictive & start alternating this w/ your current meds (ask your MD first.)  weane yourself off the addictive ones & take alleve or advil.  you can do it.  make sure your body is healed so you will not have (or have minimal) pain so this plan will have a better chance of success.

  7. Back Pain has been creating problems since years for humans. You canfind easy and cheaper medicines which will be very efficient at www.pills9.com.Try and feel the results

  8. Consult an osteopath. Your question is ambiguous: tapering off medication is addressed in section 2, at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris See www.mercola.com SEARCHBAR: back pain. Avoid Alleve! Read the labels on the others, and alternate, daily: Tylenol, ibuprofen (Nurofen), Panadeine forte, etc., to avoid tolerance occurring Consider hypnosis, if fairly suggestible (40% of people are). There are electronic stimulation devices wthat you can wear, which interfere with the nerve's pain signals. There is a special machine for manipulating the back, which some people swear by. Back exercises, to build up muscle, and provide support: physiotherapist.
