Been to Maui?

I'm going to Maui on my honeymoon in May. Does anyone have any "secret places" they love there?

Eateries:

1. Mama's Fish House in Paia... the best food and atmosphere. Quite spendy, but well worth it and very romantic

2. Kimo's in Lahaina... Great sunsets and fun location.

3. Kula Lodge - bottom of Mt. Haleakala. Great breakfasts! Highly recommend the pancakes or waffles.

4. LeiLani's - Fabulous food, especially the desserts. Favorite place for Mai Tai's and fantastic service!

5. Cheeseburger in Paradise - Best hamburgers on the island. Mai Tai's aren't bad either.

6. Gazebo - Napili.. serves outstanding breakfast.

As for places.

1. Hana van tour. Don't attempt to do this on your own! Pay the money. It's well worth it! Opt for the tour that takes you all the way around to the winery. They will stop at the 7 Sacred Pools as well. (Although I didn't find it as spectacular as everybody made it out to be... it's part of the tour)

2. Hawaii Nature Center in Iao

3. Snorkeling just about anywhere... but yes, Black Rock is fantastic! I also liked Honolua Beach.

4. Lahaina at sunset has some nice shopping and restaurants.

5. Snorkeling tour to Molokini is a must!

6. Whale watching tour if in season

7. Sunrise at Mt. Haleakala. Yes it's EARLY! It's a DRIVE! and it's really really COLD! But it is amazing! Be sure to bring a blanket from the hotel and a sweatshirt. I promise, this will be the only time you will need one. (Afterwards, don't forget to go to Kula Lodge for breakfast!)

Now, personally, I think the Luau's are great.

Kick back and relax and don't miss one sunset! They are fabulous! (Keep an eye out for the spark of green... you'll see)

Also hang out by the beach and in the sun.
