Has anyone ever been to a bull fight in Mexico? If so, do they have a "running of the bulls" such as they have in Spain?

  1. There are a few towns that do parade the bulls on the street, but it is a controlled affair, nothing like the San Fermin festival in Pamplona. San Migue De Allende does have a bull parade.

  2. YEA, IVE BEEN TO ONE!!

MY TIOS FROM GUADALAJARA TOOK ME!!

    IT WAS COOL

  3. no they dont have that, bull fighting here, is just between the torero (bull fighter) and the bull, they  have other guys that help distract the bull in case the torero is in trouble.

at the end most of the time the torero kills the bull with the spade and cut ears and tail, dunno if u r up 4 that!

  4. Bullfighting is barbaric and insane. We live in the 21st Cenury and I am appalled at how anyone with a conscience could possibly consider this butchery entertainment.

  5. there is some towns in the center of Mexico that makes something similar to the Pamplona running of thu bulls", in Apizaco in the state of Tlaxcala is one very similar,  the other i know of have a variation like the one they do in Tlacotalpan in the state of Veracruz, where they first make the bulls swim and cross a river, and are brahma bulls not lydia bulls, bigger but not as agresive as their lydia cousins and its celebrated in Holy week.

San Miguels used to be as agresive and dangerous as the one in Tlaxcala, but people started to complain in how unsafe it was and now is very much controled.

There is other festivities that involve diferent ways of bull fighting in some other towns in Mexico, but the ones above are the ones most known
