  1. People write ghost stories about places they think *should* be haunted because they are ripe with history or events of some kind--asylums, old houses, merry go rounds, etc.  It's just a setting chosen for its juxtaposition and dramatic effect.

  2. I love merry go rounds!  They are so beautiful and just to watch the peoples(kids and adults) reaction to them is balm for my soul.

Several years ago, my brother and sister worked at a Six Flags location and they would tell about the merry go round would come on after the park would close at night on a regular basis.  I suspect that the merry go round itself was not so haunted, but perhaps someone was visiting that wanted their own private ride.....

  3. I havent been on one of those since I was a little kid.

You wouldn't believe the paranormal activity going on. First, this mysterious music started playing. Then the whole thing started spining around in circles. Imagine the power of the poltergeist to spin a huge thing like that. Whats more, the horse came to life, going up and down as if they wanted to break free and run off.

I will never go on one of those things again.

I think they put the souls of real horses into the plastic horses on them, this is why they are haunted.

  4. No I don't think so but if i had I never experienced anything.

  5. I seem to remember one such haunted carousel in a s****. Doo cartoon, but that's about it.

  6. The merry-go-round in boo´s mansion level in Super Mario 64 gave me the creeps!

  7. not someplace I would go to look for a haunt.
