  1. You should see your gyn.  Many things can be managed through your gyn.  First, if you aren't having periods, you aren't ovulating, giving you zero chance of pregnancy.  What your gyn will do is give you something to bring on your period.  Usually its prometrium.  Its taken for 10 days, then you get a period shortly after.  An u/s will check for cysts.  Blood work will be done to see your hormone levels, check your bloodsugar which can impede ovulation, metformin lowers blood sugar levels, tests can be done to check if your blood is too thick, and clomid stimulates follicular growth and helps with ovulation.  It could be PCOS.  Diet, eating green leafy veggies helps with a natural ovulation.

  2. well sister if  you have only had 24 periods in your life time, and your 27 then you definately need to get your butt into the OB and get your aunt flows going regularly . My hubby and I have been trying for 7 months now to get pregnant and haven't suceeded yet but thankfuly I am having regular periods thanks to the wonderful herb  ChasteBarry  which is known as ( Vitex) which you can get @ any GNC store . Given the fact that you are only 27 and I am the same age you are , I would jump to fertility drugs yet , go to your OB first talk to her , have her run some tests - then you and your hubby decide what you want to do .  Lots of baby dust to you

  3. No period means not ovulating.  Most likely cause is PCOS which can be managed with meds (metformin).  Fertility can also be enhanced with clomid.  You do, however, need to see a doctor and get tested.  The meds are relatively inexpensive, but you may need additional testing (for cysts) as well given lack of period for such a prolonged period of time.

The vitex thing mentioned above also doesn't mean that will help you with ovulation.  It may help with a period but not necessarily ovulation (i.e. having a period also doesn't necessarily mean that you are ovulating).

    Good luck.

  4. If you're not having periods, you're not ovulating.  If you're not ovulating, you can't get pregnant.  You need to go to a doctor to get those periods going.  There's medication that can help you.
