Beeps repeatedly, lense won't retract...won't take...

Question

Camera not working....was fine one minute and the next the lense won't retract, it beeps upon powering up, and it will go to review picture mode and show the pictures on the camera, but won't take any new pics, and the lense won't retract? When you power off it beeps repeatedly?
