  1. Just for sh#ts and giggles I'm going to assume your serious.

    No it won't work.

During fermentation beer needs to be in an airtight container, with an airlock. This allows carbon dioxide out and doesn't let nasty microbes and bacteria in. Last I checked...there aren't any airtight toilets out on the market.

That and you want to start with a sanitary fermenter...not create one along the way.

Besides...where are you going to c**p for two or three weeks.

  2. Actually the toilet bowl is 1 of the cleanest places in your house because it is constantly being washed.  Just dont **** in it before you make it hahah

  3. I Double Salute You, Why would you even think of something so dumb as that....

  4. NO beer in toilet!  Beer is sacred and should be respected as the holy nectar that it is.  Show a little respect!

  5. the only way you can properly make beer without getting sick afterwards is if every device which touches the beer throughout fermentation is sanitized.  you would need to shut the water off to the the toilet, sanitize the tank, remove the tank, and sanitize (bleach) the bowl.  some sort of plug in the drain would help.  you would then need a device to prevent air from getting in, while letting CO2 out.

so... without doing all that, you would certainly get sick as it wouldn't ferment properly at all.  if you did that, it may work, but you'd never convince anyone to drink it.

believe it or not, beer doesn't have enough alcohol to be anti-bacterial, like spirits do.  beer will, and does, spoil.  back in the middle ages, the beer was the only safe thing to drink, the water was contaminated.  most brews were in the 2-3% range, best we can tell.  it wasn't the alcohol in it which kept it safe, it was the boiling stage when they made the wort which made it safe to drink later on.  had they known all you had to do was boil water, they may have stopped there.  i'm glad they didn't, though :)
