  1. The way I understand it. One to two beers a day is good for your kidneys because it helps to flush your system. The alcohol content of too many beers and hard liquor is damaging to your liver.

  2. Very good question.  In my research, I discovered that beer is really healthy due to vitamins contains, hops and more reasons. Beer is healthier than ANY OTHER beverage and I´m not linked with any beer maker in any way.

  3. One or two beers per day can be healthy. The beer contains B vitamins. Many beers are as rich in antioxidants as red wines are. There is also evidence of benefits to the heart and urinary system. Too much of anything can be detrimental, of course.

  4. Any alcohol is bad for you, It kills brain cells

  5. Beer (depending on the beer) is most likely 'better' for you because beer actually has nutritional value in the way of vitamins and minerals.  The only suspected health benefit of liquor would be the reported health benefits of small doses of alcohol in your diet which beer also has.  Both are only beneficial in moderation though, getting plowed regularly isn't doing you any favors although beer is probably the lesser of the two 'evils'.

You'll never see much in the way of solid/supported data on this though.  Special interest groups have been doing a wonderful job of demonizing alcohol for the better part of the century.
