  1. mailing alcoholic beverages is illegal period

  2. What they don't know can't hurt em.

  3. DHL will ship alcohol, but I would not go to the regular post office

  4. yes they should as long it is in a different box.

  5. send it, on the customs declaration, say, birthday gift with a value under $20...that usually works :)

  6. The postal service does not allow alcohol beverages to be mailed.

What country is he in, and what beer are you sending? Most foreign beers are better than mass produced American beers.

  7. It's illegal to ship beer through the U.S. postal service.  However, you can ship "yeast samples".  Of course, sometimes you have to store the yeast in 12 oz bottles, with labels and a preservative malt and hops liquid! :)

I used to live in Guam, and my family used to ship me beers fairly regularly.  Not necessarily on the level, but if anyone questioned them, they would always call them yeast samples.  Delicious, wonderful, yeast samples!
