Beetle Identification?

Antenna almost the length of body (striped black/white), tear drop shaped body with little "spikes" (white) on back and butt. Tiny head and legs are similarly striped. More black than white, however. I found the little fella on the edge of our pool (northern Michigan) and have seen a variety of sizes. Does anyone know what it could be?

  1. You could have a picture taken of the beetle and then it could be easier to identify and name the species.

However I have found a site where you have got more than 2500 images of various beetles with prety good description.

If you are interested to have a glance at them you might identify that one you have seen.
