Will the broadcast TV signals become syncronized video/audio before the mandated switchover?

  1. All that will change in February 2009 is that analog over the air TV broadcasting will cease.( Except for some low power translator stations)  NOTHING else will change.

    I don't get what you mean by synchronized? What you have now is what you will have in Feb. 2009 less the analog broadcasts.


  2. the only thing that is going on is that the signal is going digital meaning you can either get a DTV converter box ,DTV compatible TV or go to cable or satellite TV. you can get a $40 coupon for a DTV converter box from www.dtv2009.gov.

  3. I don't know what you mean by synchronized but most major stations are already transmitting a digital signal.

  4. only thing that date means is if your antenna is on the roof of your house because you live in the boonines you will not get tv any longer. no open air signals
