Before I upgraded Norton Utilities, My Yahoo was my home page, but everything I've tried (like going under internet options under tools) hasn't worked. So what am I doing wrong? I really use the My Yahoo page to keep my life organized. Please help!!

Thanks so much,

  1. go to Internet explorer icon on desktop right click choose properties, put the yahoo adress in the space for open with and select apply

  2. What happened is Norton Utilities made some changes of its own default.  Just manually go to your My Yahoo home page. When you get there right click the address in the address bar, click copy, go to "TOOLS" on the menu bar (probably located just below the address bar), from there scroll down and click "Internet Options".  When Internet Options opens you'll see at the top "Home Page" and a space where you can type or paste a new address.  If the address that is there is already highlighted, great, if not, just double click the address that is there to highlight it.  Keep your pointer on the highlighted address, right click it, and click paste.  Finally, down at the bottom, click the "Apply" button then click the "OK" button.  Now when you click the home button on your web browser, and/or when you open a new Internet window, your My Yahoo page should be the first thing you see.

  3. you search make yahoo my homepage at the the search bar
