  1. Only the shedding of blood procures payment for sin. The temporary payment of sin by the sacrifices of unblemished lambs could get people to heaven due to the condition that Christ would come later to pay for all men with the permanent sacrifice for all human beings. Of course they must avail themselves of it.

  2. I like your question.

No. Many people who have died in the past are dead (Eccl 9:5) awaiting a resurrection, a coming back to life. (Acts 24:15)

Some people are not going to be resurrected. Like Adam and Eve. So they remain dead, non-existent.

Only a selected group is going to be in heaven, ruling in God's Kingdom, over the earth (Rev 5:9,10;Luke 22:28-30;Rev 7:4;Matt 6:10;Dan 2:44)

All others are going to live on a restored Paradise earth. Including those from the past who are resurrected. (Luke 23:43;Rev 21:3,4;Ps 37:11,29)

  3. No, salvation has always been about faith.  In the OT, the Israelites were given the sacrificial system as a foreshadow of the perfect sacrifice that Jesus would make.

In the OT, God's people were to have faith that God would fulfill his promises.  As someone has answered earlier - read Hebrews 11.  It explains clearly that Abraham, Noah, Moses, etc, looked to the future fulfilment of the promises and it was credited to them as righteousness.

  4. JC would be Jesus I assume. I would assume also that anyone before and after birth were judged the same.

  5. no. they went to a big waiting room .and waited ,,,,and waited ,,,,and waited ,,,,,,

  6. Yes. It was referred to as "the bosom of Abraham" and Christians believe that during the three days between Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection, he went there and "freed the prisoners", hence the part of the Apostle's Creed "was crucified, died, and was buried, he descended into h**l and on the third day rose again..."

  7. What you should be asking is if the Christian God knows everything, past present and future surely couldn't he see that people would not be able to live up to the crazy rules he put forth and send Jesus from the start. Adam Eve and JC...?

  8. No, before Jesus fulfilled the laws and commandments and became the complete sacrifice for us, the people had to obey all the laws and make animal sacrifices and do all kinds of ablutions (washings) to work toward keeping the commandments. This is simply impossible that is why God sent his Son to pay the price for us, an all time sacrifice.

  9. No not really, yes before Jesus came all were short of God's glory and couldn't enter into heaven, but after the cross, in the three days Jesus was not on earth, physically, Jesus took the keys of heaven and h**l. He took all those who believed in Him, (that died before Jesus) from h**l into heaven. So that proves God doesn't forget His people.

  10. No. Read Hebrews 11. Heard about Noah, Abraham, et al.?
