  1. Yes. It  is.

  2. OF CORSE

  3. No, because throughout the bible, there are people that were wealthy and powerful and they lived for God.  God wants us to be rich, but he wants us to be rich in him.  Because what we have is of God and for God, he can take it all away, just like that.

  4. I wouldn't say that it is against his will, no. But it is against his will for people to be selfish and greedy. And lets face it, if you were really generous- fed the starving kids, helped the homeless, donated to charities, and gave your personal time to help people, you wouldn't be all that rich anymore.

In a perfect world there wouldn't be rich and poor people. We would all have what we needed. And I think that would be his will. All his children properly cared for.

  5. I think being rich is alright by all religions if you share your wealth with those who are in need.  Greed is one of the seven deadly sins.  Watch the news for a half hour and you can see many examples of how greed kills.

  6. I don't think that Jesus doesn't want people to be rich.  However He understands that money corrupts and power corrupts even more so someone who is rich is going to have a much more difficult time dealing with all the tempations that they will face.

  7. before jesus there was only god the father!

    john chapter 1 vs 1

  8. Not opposite. Jesus said "it's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."

Maybe it's your understanding that's in opposition  to Him. You can't buy your way into the kingdom and you can't take it with you. No amount of money will ever  buy you His truth. (John15:26-27)

You might even think that beliefs are  complete nonsense... but maybe that's because your 'belief' in God has not been trustworthy. (2John1:7)

    Have you sinned?

  9. Not before, during, or after Jesus' time was God opposed to man being rich.  Jesus had rich friends such as Lazarus whom he raised from the dead.

  10. For some it is God's Will that they should be wealthy. It is harder for a wealthy person to follow in His Footsteps.

  11. In the Old Testament, wealth was a sign of God's blessing; poverty was a sign of God's curse.

  12. No. Abraham was considered the millionaire of the old testament.

  13. No as long as the money is used for the goodwill of mankind

  14. No, there are good Christians who are rich and poor. People should not love money more than God or their families. But it is okay to have a lot of money. You can still have a lot of money and be a good Christian.

  15. Jesus or the Father are not opposed to anyone being rich. Thanks for asking though!

  16. no matter what you do jesus still loves you.
