Before cow milk is processed, is it really that white?

Right when it comes out of the cow, is the milk a darker color?

No, it's not a darker colour. Cow milk is white and creamy. Some cows, like Jerseys produce VERY rich milk which means it looks slightly yellower. In the UK it used to be known as 'gold top'. But it was still creamy white.

a lot of milk actually isn't white sometimes it has a somewhat yellow tinge to it, that's why they package it in opaque white containers so consumers won't be turned off by otherwise good milk.

Before milk is processed there is a lot of cream in it which will make it have a ever so slightly yellow but not gross yellow tinge. After this is skimmed off it will be lighter.
