  1. Yes, that's more normal than you think.  It's called mittelschmerz, which means pain in the middle, and it's referred to mainly as ovulation pains.  I generally happens before ovulation and can also happen during.  It shouldn't last more than a day.  I experience it almost every month and it can get quite painful!


  2. Yes, that's how I usually know I'm ovulating.

  4. Yes, it happens to me usually more on one side than the other.
