Have you been avid in politics since before you could vote? How old were you when you read a political biography? It does not have to be a Presidential biography, just political.

Have you read biographies of both parties, from "both sides of the aisle", so to speak?

  1. I have voted in every general, special and primary election since first becoming eligible in 1960. I've read a number of political biographies, beginning at age 12. Though I am now an independent voter I have belonged to both major parties at different times in the past.  I've also sought election to office twice. Once in 1988 and once in 1998.

  2. i've always kept up on politics and stayed informed ever since i can remember. in 94 (9 years b4 i could vote) i remember having very spirited discussions about the referendum in Quebec. and in 93 i went door to door campaigning for david fleet, a friend of my parents' who ran for mpp. i have voted in every election i've been able to ( i even had my mom proxy me this year for the provincial election as i am out of Canada) i have never read more than excerpts from political bios, priministerial or otherwise, but that's just because i don't read very much outside of mandatory school texts. but i do consider myself an informed voter, and it is easy to get informed from the websites of the parties and candidates these days as long as you have a good eye for bias. we have five major parties up here, and many more than that and i have looked into all of their policies and views to choose the one that fit me best, as well as looking at the individual candidate for my riding. that said, not many ppl my age care much about voting, or even vote (i'm 22). in last year's municipal election i was the only person i talked to that day who voted and one of the few who even knew it was election day. i spoiled the ballot on th school board stuff cause i didn't care or know the candidates, but it was very dissappointing that no one else even bothered.
