  1. With a little work, you should be able to do 2 miles in 30 minutes walking.

When I go out for a hard walk, I do 4 miles in about 56 minutes.

That's not race walking, that's just walking at a brisk pace.

  2. Don't try to just jump in and run 2 miles off the bat.. This is a good program to us to get into shape.

It's been used by many many people to get into shape, myself included.

  3. don't go full blast in the beginning take it at a pace that's nice and comfortable for YOU and maintain it. wear running shoes.stretch before and after.

  4. okay i have alot of endurance but not much speed but i got through a 2 mile in 23 minutes....so...um..i  can't tell u how to get through it but if you practice running alot you'll bulid up endurance.

this summer my mom made me run with 3 pound weights on my ankles. to bulid strength so that's an idea and just listen to music...

  5. with very low endurance you will not be able to do it until you build it up. you want to run 2 miles? try to walk an even speed for about six miles. add some weight. speed up.once you get your endurance up, you will be able to run 2 miles in well under 30 min. good luck.

  6. Hello,

Start gradually and work up to it.  So many people start running and push themselves to exhaustion...and then quit.  Try the 10-week schedule below.  You'll be running 3 miles comfortably by the end...and I'm sure your 2-mile time will be a lot faster than it was when you started.  Good luck!
