  1. for board info, check out the other question you asked.. i answered that as well... as for pointers...

the absolute hardest part of wakeboarding is learning how to get up.

to begin this, sit in a ball position with your knees bent and your butt hitting your heels... your arms should be bent around the outside of your knees so that you are holding the handle in front of you..

when you are ready... keep your body in the ball postion while slightly pushing the board ahead of you.. dont try to pull yourself up, stay slightly leaning back in the ball position till you come to the surface, as soon as your board planes, simply satnd up and turn it to the side you are comfortable with and pull the handle to your front hip. many begginners have a problem of edging outside of the wake without meaning to.. to correct this.. let go with your back ahnd to keep your body aligned and stand up straight with about 60% of youre weight on your back foot, 40% on the front...

once you're ready and comfortable to go outside the wake.. you'll probably feel more comfortable going out to your heel side first. to do this, act like you are sitting in a chair or act like your standing on the balls of your feet and keep the handle close to you, this will improve the control of your board. to go out on your toe side edge, act like you're standing on your toes but the important thing to remember is keep your chest pointed towards the sky and the handle close to youre front hip.. once you have this down, its all muscle memory and youll get better and better the more you practice..

    good luck, hope this helps.

  2. well, Im learning too. My dad always says you have to put the rope between your feet, in the middle of your board. Then, its like skiing... keep ur knees bent nd thn wll, u know the rest. keep your knees bent until your completley up nd going.

  3. Well I have no idea where you live so I can't help you with that but I'm 100 pounds and 5'3 so my board would be perfect and I just got it at a store near my cottage, just ask the people working at any sporting life or anything along those lines. Search it on google probably haha.

If you know how to ski then you know it's mostly experience and hard to explain especially over the internet haha. Basically you put your feet in the holders and sit in the water behind the boat with the rope in your hand, keep your legs curled to your chest, your board infront of you just like in skiing... but with only one big fat ski. Don't worry about turning sideways because as soon as the boat pulls you up (try to lean back more than forward  because the tip can get pulled under resulting in a painful fall, but not too far, just try to balance, similar to skiing) you can just swivel your feet and body and you will end up sideways, you barely have to do anything, then just zoom along and have fun :) Make sure to bend to get over the wake and don't worry about not getting up on your first try, it may take a couple!

    Good luck and have fun!!

    xoxoxo
