I want to start learning to play acoustic guitar. What specific guitars do you guys think suit a beginner well?

I'm looking to spend not much more than $100 new or used.

Thanks all

  1. Epiphone DR100 make a nice little guitar for $90. It good enough to practice and has a clean sound, nice finish and playability.

You can also check the Takamine single cutaway for $150. This is a much better guitar, nice fglossy finish and an awesome fingerboard. It is worth every dollar.

It rarely needs any adjustment either.

  2. I have been playing guitar for about six years and I still own the first acoustic I purchased, which was an Esteban AL-100. It may only be $100.00, but it sounds good. And you can usually catch an infomercial selling them with a bunch of extras. Great for a beginner.
