Beginner/Intermediate swim workouts?

Looking for some beg/int swim workouts. Recently had to swim 350 meters for a partial triathalon. Would like to increase distance and stamina as well as form for mostly freestyle....thanks

  1. Go to ruthkazez.com.  She has 50 beginner swimming workouts that are a good base for increasing distance stamina.  Good Luck.


  2. this is a pretty easy workout that i used to do (it had actual times for you to swim by, but that's not necessary)

    200 swim freestyle

    200 kick freestyle

    200 pull freestyle

    5x 50's freestyle

    200 IM kick on your back

    150 swim butterfly

    150 swim backstroke

    150 swim breaststrokes

    150 swim freestyle

    10x 25's sprint

    100 warm down

  3. do ladders (swim 25 m, rest 10 seconds, swim 50 m, rest 10 seconds, swim 75 m, rest 10 seconds, swim 100 m, rest 10 seconds... you can then go back down to 25, or keep on going...)
