  1. Training shouldn't be too hard.

Throw a ball against a wall or with a partner for a little while every day.  It doesn't seem like much when you start, but after a couple weeks you will notice major improvement.

Also, running and cycling is a good way to build up endurance.

For strength, consult a doctor about lifting weights and do lots of crunches for core strength.

  2. give usalacrosse.org a try . download training exercises. best insruction book for player of all levels. no offence intended, lacrosse for dummies . it is the best book ever . have coached many years , technical drill books too confusing , just pick up the above book at your libary, find a wall, friend baseball glove , better yet fellow player . off you go. if thier is a major field team in your city go to a practice with your stick . players will see you, definatly will come over to assist any way possible . your teammates in lacrosse will become lifelong friends . happened to me and many many others . and i am 60 plus years old . lqacrosse is the most addictive sport on this planet . exceedsolf .
