Well, my friends just decided to have a boxing tournament last night and it is supposed to happen today. None of has have really ever boxed before, especially me. Does anyone have any tips for a first time boxer, how to do any combos or punches, and a stance?

  1. Fighting stand is key. If a righty, keep your right hand a little lower then you lip, and your left (your jab) right under your left eye (as high as possible to see over your fist.)

  2. Man dude you should really go to a boxing gym or club and get trained on a round timer like everyone else.  Boxing gyms and clubs are inexpensive and usually run by a former pro boxer who can lead you through all you need to know step by step.

Even if someone explained just merely typing some words about how-to DIY boxing that doesn't mean that you're going to get the smallest most important details of what you need to do.  Boxing isn't as simple as people may think it is.  There's way more to it than merely stance and combonation punches.

You should break out the yellow pages and look up a boxing gym in your area, it'll be worth it trust me even if you're a tiny little skinny kid.
