Beginner guitar help?

Question

when i strum the chords or even just a string... the string seems to reverberate kinda on the neck of the guitar...

now how can i prevent this from happening..? i believe it is properly tuned... i really want to become a good guitar player and need a LOT of help.

press your fingers down a little bit harder.  If the strings buzz when open (no fingers pressed) it means your guitar needs to be set up as the strings are probably too low.  Any guitar shop can do this for you.

you need to cold the string or chord strings down make sure you are as center as you can and hold them pretty strongly and the reverberate won't happen.
