When you are a beginner in pointe in ballet, how long does it take to goto bar work to center floor work usually?

  1. It depends on the strength and turnout of your feet as well as your age. If you have really strong feet and you work them properly you can move into the centre in a few weeks.  You have to have the right shoes for your feet though. If your feet are a little bit weaker or you are a little bit younger it might take a month or two.


  2. It all depends on how hard you are willing to work. Some of the girls in my class we doing center work 2-3 weeks after they got their pointe shoes. For myself and a few others who weren't as confident, it took a couple of months.
