  1. If you have a brother, use his old one, if not, I'd say just go buy a cheap complete board, don't spend over 60$ Start doing some stuff in your driveway just to get used to the feel of the board. Buy some "X-factor" jumps, (There perfect for skateboarding, biking, inline, whatever, and they are a tabletop) You can use these just to ride over, you can put a block of wood or something under the flat tabletop part to make a drop, or a drop to a ride on rail, just the kicker, or a gap. Then start trying some ollies. To ollie, move your front foot down to about the middle of the board (some people go down even further, personal preference) transfer your weight a bit to your back foot (which should be on teh tail of the board) and slam it down, Level out the board and your weight, and try to land even with the ground. As for your board, world industries is okay for beginner, your trucks, wheels, bearings, everybody likes different styles stuff

  2. well you shouldnt get one at big 5 they break easily, try a zero or blind, get some ventures they are the best! a good board will feel smooth and not squicky.

  3. Whatever you do dont go walmart!

Do you have a Zumiez in your local mall?

Go in there and theyll hook you up.

go with mini-logo though...they are cheap and wont break to fast.
