  1. Trampolines are tons of fun, but simply jumping up and down can get old after awhile. If you feel you are ready to start expanding your trampoline skills, there are a number of tricks you can begin practicing. The full flip is a great beginner trick to learn and with a few simple tips you'll be starting today

1Begin by practicing somersaults on your trampoline to get the feel of the flip. Kneel without bouncing and throw yourself forward. When you can land on your back with your head never touching the trampoline, you are ready to move on to practicing the flip.

Step2Practice standing somersaults, again, trying to land on your back without your head touching the trampoline. Do not attempt to complete a full bouncing flip until you can do the standing somersault.

Step3Start jumping just a little bit before throwing yourself forward into the somersault. At the peak of your jump, lean forward and swing your legs back hard and fast to give you momentum to flip. You will be landing on your back every time, as you are not jumping very high. However, it is important that you master the basic standing somersault before you start jumping high and flipping.

Step4Move into the full flip when you feel confident with your standing somersault. Jump 4 or 5 times to gain as much height as possible. At the peak of your jump, repeat the steps for the somersault. It will take practice to land on your feet, so don't get discouraged if you are landing on your rear end. Practice until perfect.
