For beginners (Me, wife, two kids 10 and 11.5 yrs old)

with our own equipment (been busy on eBay!) which of

the "Summit at Snoqualmie" areas (East, West, Central, Alpental) would be best - especially right now after it rained and re-froze last week (We'd want groomed runs, I would suspect)?

  1. Go to Central, sign up for the EZ 1,2,3, package, 3 days of lessons, tickets, equipment, $99/ ea. get there early before 8:30.  The lessons go out at 10. It takes about 40 minutes to get all set up and through the line.   Meet near the rental shop, and close to the main slopes.  Our staff will always be willing to help you and the family.  It is faster and easier to take this set of lessons and enjoy yourselves than to try and learn without the lessons.

I just came down from the hill, it's well groomed, the freeze will be gone by 11.  Snow depth is good.

       Hope to see you soon.

Sorry no discount for your own gear,  today was bright sunshine all day long, the snow was getting soft by 11 am. It will set up firm tonight and be very good in the morning.  Get there early, classes were full by 930 for the am class. The 1230 class was also very busy.

Not necessary for 3 consecutive days. Your choice of days.
